  I'm not a climber, but this is still my favorite gym in New Haven. As a beginner, I love that the climbing routes are open and fun for people of all levels – but I 'm there every week for the amazing strength training program with Julie and the range of yoga classes available. The facilities are clean and well-equipped, but above all I love Ascent for how friendly and inclusive it feels. They're building a true community here!

  I've been climbing and working out here since they've opened. The gym itself is outstanding with all new equipment, sauna, and excellent route setting. Not only are the facilities top tier, but the community of climbers here is extremely welcoming. I love it here.

  Ascent is an amazing facility with an inviting atmosphere and community, top of the line equipment, fresh and frequently rotated routes, and an event schedule packed with creative get-togethers and classes on a wide variety of things. The staff feels like family and it’s my favorite place to go get a workout in!
