  Very nice gym with lots to offer. Easy to get to with plenty of parking. I stopped by while visiting RVA for a few hours of climbing, choosing this location over Peak Experience. Desk staff were not too enthusiastic or welcoming—it made me a little sad for possible new-to-climbing folks who don’t know the process or what to expect. But we did lead with our experience and customer service just isn’t what it used to be anywhere, so... in addition to not anticipating our needs or offering a tour, they also do not offer an industry discount—which is odd to me. The training however was well organized and efficient. Well set routes that were challenging and interesting and fun. I was sad that they were out of normal-sized stickers for my climbing collection, but I would go back and don’t regret the $15 day pass

  This is such a wonderful climbing gym! There is such a sense of community here and engagement. I brought a group of kids here for work and they went above and beyond with staff members helping, giving us our own space to climb and to put our stuff, encouragement, independence for older kids to clip themselves, providing goodie bags, taking pics, and facilitating game play when kids started getting tired near the end. They truly go above and beyond!

  They keep doing membership drives and more recently I have had to circle the lot with 4 or 5 other cars waiting for a parking space. More than once. Midweek. I thought perhaps this will pass since there was the punch pass sale. Then there was the waived app fee. Now it's an annual advance pay sale. I drive 45 minutes to use their location, but the parking issue is very discouraging, esp when they keep doing membership drives. FWIW I also heard other climbers inside complaining and faulting the new member promos. Previously: well-designed facility with ample parking and some excellent classes. Very kid friendly, spacious, organized and clean. MacKenzie and Cody -- thanks for your helpful suggestions, thoroughness and kindness. Jay was an especially good instructor -- he put everyone at ease and was super clear.

  This gym has a lot of potential, but it doesn’t get cleaned regularly—if ever. I’ve been climbing for over a decade, and I’ve visited dozens of climbing gyms. This is by far the worst in terms of cleanliness. Expect to find hair clumps, bandages, dust bunnies, and more—and they’ll be there every time you come back, in the exact same place. The bathrooms are also regularly out of basic necessities like toilet paper or hand soap.
